Case 36: Smile Design

This is me. I'm Steve, 38 years old, and I look after the marketing for Cherrybank Dental Spa. My natural teeth were a bit "pitted" and a good few years ago, I had veneers fitted to my 2 front teeth. Technology and techniques has bounded ahead since then, and recently I felt that my veneers looked somewhat "fake" and that they didn't match the rest of my teeth. I was also very aware of the dark areas between the veneers and gums, other areas of pitting on my upper teeth, and a small filling (dark patch) that you could see when I smiled. I also had some large amalgam (metal) fillings which showed through the teeth. I had 10 very thin porcelain veneers fitted to my upper teeth, and I was very keen that they should look "natural". Notice the deliberate imperfections. Only the very best dental labs will have the expertise to do this. The whole procedure took only 2 two and a half hour appointments, and during both I watched a film on the DVD glasses! It goes without saying that I'm over the moon with the results, and I feel more confident and I believe I look better and healthier.
